Valiant is seeking a skilled Maintenance Plumber to be responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of the plumbing and piping systems currently utilized in the medical facility, to include all piping, pumps, valves, meters, fittings, insulation, and related accessories.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assembles, installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes.
•Studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required and sequence of installations.
•Inspects structure to ascertain obstructions to be avoided to prevent weakening of structure resulting from installation of pipe.
•Locates and marks position of pipe and pipe connections and passage holes for pipes in walls and floors, using ruler, spirit level and plumb bob.
•Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand tools and power tools.
•Cuts and threads pipe, using pipe cutters, cutting torch, and pipe-threading machine.
•Bends pipe to required angle by use of pipe-bending machine or by placing pipe over block and bending it by hand.
•Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, such as iron, steel, brass and lead, and nonmetals, such as glass, vitrified clay, and plastic, using hand tools and power tools.
•Joins pipe by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and calks joints.
•Fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking.
•Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
•Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains.
•May weld holding fixtures to steel structural members.
•Maintenance Technicians will have experience and knowledge in troubleshooting, repair, programming, and other corrective maintenance and minor modifications on all systems and equipment
•Working experience in TJC, OSHA, NFPA, EPA, & other related codes & standards and all employees must comply with all applicable ordinances, laws, or other requirements imposed by other state agencies, courts, or certain localities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Plumber Journeyman with minimum of 3 years of experience and shall be licensed/certified by the appropriate state for his/her specific trade. A copy of the state/federal licenses or certifications must be provided to the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) on site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in

the electrical system or equipment; working standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment; and using a variety of electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.

Valiant is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to be responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of heat energy production and distribution systems, and all HVAC equipment, controls, piping, ductwork, accessories, and appurtenances.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain, replace, and repairs all systems, sub systems, components and associated devices for HVAC, Refrigeration system, Building Automation System and other systems associated to the operation of a medical facility and or hospital.

Must be knowledgeable to perform other general maintenance.
Performs troubleshooting, replacement, repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC/R and Building Automation Systems

Operates HVAC and Building Automation Systems

Work will include repair and maintenance of dampers, ducts and hinges, diffusers, insulation, drain pans, piping, seals, weather stripping, electrical wiring to motor control centers and disconnects, DDC, air conditioning unit enclosures (including access panels), chillers, air handlers, boilers, HVAC water treatment systems, and all other components of the HVAC
systems.

Priority is given to maintaining required humidity levels and air
balances in critical patient care areas. All controlled refrigerants, developed plans, and records maintained IAW EPA and air quality standards.

Temperature and humidity sensors will be calibrated quarterly. Any leaks to be reported to COR.

Refrigerant Log sheets to be maintained and updated as required with copy forwarded to COR.

Technicians will perform tasks after normal duty times to
minimize disruptions.

Perform Log/Watch/Tour writes in records activities in
daily log book.

Ability to read and understand building prints, drawings and
operation and maintenance manuals

Required Qualifications:
• Very efficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word, and Outlook Applications
